  • Thank you for Selecting Big Mama's Kitchen Kreationz for your Catering Needs. We are based in Chicago and service Harvey, Dolton, Calumet City, Champaign, Schaumburg, Orland Park, Oak Park, O'Hare, Arlington Heights and surrounding areas Travel fee starts at $65 for every 30 minutes of driving and we will drive up to 3 hours from the surrounding Chicago areas. Travel out of state anywhere more than 3 hours is an additional Travel fee.

    Our Catering Minimum Catering order in Chicago and surrounding areas is $1,000 and $1,500 in Chicago and surrounding areas. Catering Orders are customized based on Menu, quantity of food, and number of guest. All Catering Orders have a Catering Fee of $140 which covers catering expenses such as the increase in groceries, alumnial pans, kitchen space, catering boxes, insurance, catering flowers, ect.

    We aceept bookings 3 month in advance. which would require a 60% deposit to Secure your Date. For All Weddings and Reunions and Larger Events 6-8 months in advance with a 50% Deposit to Secure your Date.

    All Submissions will be responded to in 72 hours. Please contact Chef Mary to confirm your Catering date is Available before paying your Consultation Fee. If you fail to contact chef and pay consultantation fee and date is unavailable you will not be refunded your $20.00.

    A $20 NON REFUNDABLE CONSULTATION FEE IS REQUIRED WITH CHEF MARY TO DISCUSS THE DETAILS OF YOUR BOOKING SUCH AS MENU, LOCATION, SETUP, AND PRICING. THIS IS TO ASSURE THAT YOU REALLY WANT TO PUT IN A CATERING ORDER OR NEED CATERING AND NOT WASTE EITHER OF OUR TIME. PLEASE EMAIL OR TEXT ME TO CONFIRM YOUR DATE IS AVAILABLE FIRST. YOU WILL THEN BE  PAYING THE $20 CONSULATION FEE THROUGH ZELLE AFTER SUBMISSION. AFTER CONSULTATION IF DECIDED TO MOVE FOWARD AN EMAIL INVOICE WILL BE SENT SHORTLY WHERE A NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT OF 50% OF THE TOTAL WILL BE DUE. THE REMAINING BALANCE WILL BE DUE 5 DAYS BEFORE YOUR EVENT. THERE WILL BE NO CHANGES MADE TO THE INVOICE WITHIN A WEEK OF THE EVENT. NO DATE WILL BE HELD WITHOUT A DEPOSIT. ANY BOOKING 1 HOUR OR MORE OUTSIDE OF MY LOCATION ARE SUBJECT TO TRAVEL FEES. IF YOU ARE BOOKING ANY PRIVATE EVENT IN WHICH I WOULD BE PREPARING THE FOOD IN YOUR KITCHEN PLEASE ENSURE THE KITCHEN SPACE IS EFFICIENT ( ENOUGH SPACE AND PROPER AMENITIES) AND CLEAN. ( NO DISHES IN THE SINK, EMPTY TRASH, AND A CLEARED COUNTER SPACE ) THE PRICING ABOVES ARE ONLY ESTIMATES. YOU WILL RECEIVE A CATERING MENU THAT GIVES A GENERAL PRICE OF FOOD ITEMS.
